Respect for Closed Practices: Our blends use only non-native, open-practice herbs and responsibly sourced ingredients. While some designs may feature general “sage” imagery, we do not use white sage or traditional Palo Santo.
Hand poured in Baltimore, Ohio by a small, local team right here at our family run studio & boutique. Made with American soy wax, and oils sourced from IFRA perfumists that conform to the strictest standards, both legally and our own, to ensure you’re getting a top-notch product that’s safe, fragrant and worth every penny. Many of our ingredients are sourced right here in Ohio!
How To Use: Gently press on the edges of the bars to split them into their individual cubes. Pull one cube out and pop it in your warmer! One cube is designed to last a week before needing to be replaced. Wax warmers should generally be left on for 4 to 8 hours at a time, and turned off when not in use, especially overnight.
Curing Process: They get stronger with time! When natural wax and oils are mixed, the oil needs time to bind to the wax — this deepens and strengthens the scent.
Curing takes about 2 weeks, though most melts ship pre-cured. Because products sell fast, some customers still wait 1–2 weeks after receiving their melts for the best throw. You can always sniff early and melt later!
For maximum scent strength, cure up to 2 months — though we wish we could pre-cure them all, our fresh small-batch process makes that tricky.

Everything I’ve purchased from Bewilderment has been amazing but this is my fav so far. The scent is citrusy and clean, yet sweet and comforting, like lemon shortbread cookies. Perfect for that “just finished cleaning my whole damn house and now it’s time to relax” feeling. Also, the spell melts are sooo pretty (different one pictured but you get the gist)!

Oh my goodness, they smell absolutely incredible! I haven’t placed them in my warmer yet, as I’m allowing them a bit more time to cure—but even just opening the package, the fragrance is amazing. I truly can’t wait to experience how they’ll fill the room once they’re ready!

This was my first purchase from Bewilderment and I was blown away. First, I only put two cubes in my wax warmer (I could have used one) and my entire living room smelled like relaxing magic. Second, I have used the same two cubes three days in a row and it still smells just as strong!! I am not good at describing smells but this one will be one of my regular orders for sure. The cherry on top of everything is supporting a small LGBTQ+ business. It doesn’t get any better. I am a repeat customer for sure!!!!
I love the smell of this wax melt! However, even after knowing that the wax melts were cured, they didn't have much throw once warmed. If they were just a tad stronger in scent they would be perfect.
