Fragrance Description: Creeeeek, the door opens and antique dust fills the air. A warm leather bound wonderland, not in a kinky way. This aroma was developed using the scientific study of what makes humans simply LOVE the smell of old books. No note was overlooked! Sweet aged pages, a touch of greenery, black and brown leather, a balancing twist of caramel and musk with a touch of potting soil, oak and moss.
How To Use:Gently press on the edges of the bars to split them into their individual cubes. Pull one cube out and pop it in your warmer! One cube is designed to last a week before needing to be replaced.
About Our Melts: Our wax melts are hand poured in Baltimore, Ohio by a small, local team right here at our family run studio & boutique. These melts are made with American made soy wax, and the oils sourced from IFRA perfumists that conform to the strictest standards, both legally and our own, to ensure you’re getting a top-notch product that’s safe, fragrant and worth every penny. Many of our ingredients are sourced right here in Ohio!
Curing Process: Curing is a process that occurs when natural wax and oil are mixed and cooled. The oil needs time to bind to the wax and strengthen, which in turn makes them smell significantly stronger! Curing takes at least 2 weeks post-production, but most wax ships pre-cured! However since many of them are made fresh and sell fast, many customers opt to wait 1-2 weeks before melting a product once they receive it… just in case! Don’t worry, you can still open and sniff in the meantime! For best results and max potential, you can cure for up to 2 months!

Curing Process: They get stronger with time! When natural wax and oils are mixed, the oil needs time to bind to the wax — this deepens and strengthens the scent.
Curing takes about 2 weeks, though most melts ship pre-cured. Because products sell fast, some customers still wait 1–2 weeks after receiving their melts for the best throw. You can always sniff early and melt later!
For maximum scent strength, cure up to 2 months — though we wish we could pre-cure them all, our fresh small-batch process makes that tricky.

I was hesitant to order anything because I’m so picky about scents, but this is 👌. I don’t know how one goes about describing, let alone capturing, the smell of old books, but this is it. And nothing sweet or floral about it, which is even better.

Smells like hot plastic. I think it’s the leather aspect of the fragrance. Gave everyone in the house a headache. In future formulations, lessen or leave out the leather note.
Antique Books has a unique smell. Literally like an old book from a musty basement. I can almost imagine the crack of the book spine when I open the bar.
Smells like the research section of an old library, in a very good way! It definitely captures the aged paper scent with the notes of leather in it. Perfect for a bibliophile!!
