SniffCrate Subscription Policy

SniffCrate is a personalized monthly subscription from Bewilderment. Choose your crate size and plan, tell us what you like, and we select your assortment. All plans are billed monthly and ship monthly, including plans with a 6- or 12-month initial commitment.

Choose your plan

Standard US shipping is $5.99 per monthly shipment on every plan. Applicable taxes and selected extras are additional. Prices are in US dollars.

What the commitment means

The month-to-month plan has no multi-month minimum. Choosing a 6- or 12-month plan means agreeing to the corresponding initial number of monthly crate payments and deliveries in exchange for that plan’s lower price. These plans are paid monthly, not prepaid in full. A discounted first crate counts as the first payment and delivery in the initial term.

Subject to applicable law and any agreed early termination, a request to end renewal during the initial term schedules the subscription to end after that term. Any remaining initial-term payments are governed by the agreement you accepted and your legal rights; this policy does not remove a right to cancel or receive a refund provided by law.

First-crate offer

Eligible new subscribers selecting a 12-month commitment may receive their first Original crate for $5 or their first Ultimate crate for $10. Shipping, tax, and selected extras are additional. Starting with the second crate, the base monthly price is $29.99 for Original or $49.99 for Ultimate.

This is a discounted first shipment of a 12-month subscription, not a one-time box purchase or a free trial. The offer is limited to one redemption per eligible customer. Previous Bewilderment subscribers are not eligible. Eligibility and the applied discount are shown at checkout.

Initial-term cost

The following totals include $5.99 shipping for each shipment and exclude tax and optional extras. They are totals across the stated term, not amounts charged upfront.

Billing and automatic renewal

Your first payment is charged when you complete checkout. Later payments recur monthly according to your subscription’s billing schedule. Your first crate ships as a normal order; later crates are prepared following their monthly payments. Billing dates and delivery dates are not the same, and delivery time varies.

After your initial 6- or 12-month term ends, your subscription continues month to month at the same earned base monthly price until canceled. You do not begin another 6- or 12-month commitment automatically. Shipping, applicable tax, and any continuing extras are additional.

Optional extras

The bonus wax melt is an optional recurring addition costing $5.99 with each monthly shipment, including your first. A warmer or liner selected as a one-time purchase is charged only with the first order. Qualifying warmers are $29.99 after the $4.96 first-crate discount; liners are $0.99. Availability and final prices are shown before payment. Standard shipping remains $5.99 for the SniffCrate shipment with those selected extras.

Changes and cancellations

Submit your cancellation request online at any time. You do not need to email us or return at the end of your term to cancel again. No cancellation reason is required.

The form displays a receipt when your request is successfully submitted. Our team then updates your subscription in Recharge and emails your final billing date and any remaining committed payments. The form receipt confirms receipt of your request, not that billing has already stopped. We use the date your request is received; our processing time will not add an otherwise avoidable renewal.

During an initial 6- or 12-month commitment: we schedule your crate subscription to end after the remaining committed monthly payments and deliveries, subject to applicable law and any agreed early termination. The discounted first crate counts toward the commitment. You will not enter another commitment or continue month to month after that scheduled end date.

For month-to-month plans, or after your initial commitment: request cancellation before your next scheduled charge to stop future renewals. An order already charged or processing may still ship; contact us promptly about an order that needs attention.

If you do not cancel: the subscription continues month to month at the same earned base monthly price after the initial term, plus shipping, applicable tax, and any continuing extras.

The form defaults to ending your bonus wax with your final crate, if you added it. You can instead keep the bonus wax or cancel only the bonus wax. Bonus wax has no separate multi-month minimum; use the optional notes if you want it stopped before your final crate. One-time purchases do not renew.

You can update payment information, shipping addresses, and scent preferences in your account. For other changes or help, email Hi@Bewilderment.com. Include the email address used for your subscription. If we cannot identify the subscription, we will contact you for clarification using the subscription email before making a change.

There is no separate early cancellation fee, retroactive price increase, or automatic lump-sum charge for remaining shipments under this policy. Applicable cancellation, payment-authorization, and refund rights take priority over these terms.

Your personalized assortment

Your scent preferences, exclusions, product interests, and discovery preferences guide our selections. Product interests are not a guarantee that every selected product type will appear in every crate. Contents vary, and photos show example assortments.

Scent preferences are not an allergy-screening service. Check each product’s ingredients and directions before use. Contact us before subscribing if you have a restriction that requires confirmation about what we can supply.

Order problems and refunds

If an item arrives damaged, is incorrect, or presents another order problem, contact Hi@Bewilderment.com. Bewilderment’s Refund Policy applies together with any rights provided by law. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

Scope

This policy applies to SniffCrate subscriptions purchased under these terms. It does not add a new minimum commitment to another Bewilderment subscription or change an existing subscriber’s accepted terms retroactively.
