Fragrance throw describes how noticeably a scented product perfumes the surrounding space. With wax melts and candles, people often talk about how far the scent seems to travel and how strong it feels in the room.
Throw is affected by the fragrance formula, product type, room size, airflow, temperature, and individual scent perception. A fragrance that fills a small bedroom may seem much softer in an open living area. Strong throw is not automatically the same as a better fragrance, either. Some scents are intentionally bold and room-filling, while others are designed to feel softer or more atmospheric.
