We started in 2015, and we’ve been refining what we do ever since.

Founders Story

Bewilderment started as a lifeline.

At age 17, our founder, Brandon Love, survived a suicide attempt and needed something—anything—to stay grounded. The craft of wax melts, became that thing. Something to focus on. Something to build.

What started as a way to keep his hands busy slowly grew into something bigger.

Over time, it became a business. Then a community. Then a space where people could show up as they are—messy days included.

At our core, we’re here to help people stay.

We believe small things matter. A scent you love. A space that feels safe. A moment to breathe.

Since 2015, we’ve supported mental health and suicide prevention through our work, our community, and the organizations we give back to.

We believe in putting our money where our mouth is—we've been donating to causes like the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation, The Trevor Project, and running a mental health support space since 2015.
